Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using our services. They outline the rules and expectations for using Neatly Cleaning LLC services and website.
By accessing this website and booking services with Neatly Cleaning, you agree to these terms and conditions.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and Neatly Cleaning LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a South Carolina limited liability company. They govern your use of our website, mobile applications, and all residential cleaning services we provide.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services. Your continued use of our services following the posting of changes to these terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
1Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement to use our services. By booking a cleaning service, you represent that you are the property owner or have authorization from the property owner to grant us access to the premises.
2Service Terms
Neatly Cleaning LLC provides residential cleaning services at the address and schedule agreed upon at booking. The scope of work is determined by the service package selected and any additional instructions confirmed prior to the appointment.
- Cleaning supplies and equipment are provided unless otherwise arranged. If you prefer specific products due to allergies or sensitivities, please inform us at least 24 hours before your appointment.
- We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service if the property presents unsafe or hazardous conditions for our staff, including but not limited to biohazards, pest infestations, structural hazards, or hostile environments.
- Special requests must be communicated at least 24 hours before the scheduled service. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests but cannot guarantee fulfillment of all special instructions.
- You are responsible for securing pets, valuables, and fragile items before our arrival. Neatly Cleaning is not responsible for damage to unsecured items or pet-related incidents during service.
- You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to your property at the scheduled time, including working locks, entry codes, or key arrangements as agreed upon during booking.
3Cancellation Policy
24-Hour Notice Required
We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to reassign our team members and offer the time slot to other clients.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service amount. If our team arrives at the scheduled time and cannot gain entry to the property, a full lockout fee equal to the service amount may apply.
Recurring service plans may be paused or cancelled at any time with at least 48 hours' notice before the next scheduled appointment. No penalties apply to recurring plan cancellations made within this notice window.
4Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit and debit cards and may place a temporary authorization hold before service to verify the availability of funds.
- If a payment method is declined, we will attempt to contact you to arrange an alternative form of payment. Services may be suspended until payment is received.
- Outstanding balances not resolved within 30 days may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month (or the maximum rate permitted under South Carolina law, whichever is less).
- Pricing is based on the service package selected at the time of booking. Additional charges may apply for services outside the original scope, which will be communicated and approved before work begins.
- Tips and gratuities for our cleaning professionals are appreciated but never required.
5Liability & Warranties
Neatly Cleaning LLC carries general liability insurance. However, our liability is limited to direct damages caused by our employees or contractors during the performance of services, and in no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service during which the damage occurred.
We are not liable for damage resulting from normal wear and tear, pre-existing conditions, improperly installed fixtures, surfaces that require specialized care not disclosed to us, or items left unsecured by the client.
Any concerns or damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion by contacting us via phone or email. Claims submitted after this period may not be eligible for resolution.
Warranty Disclaimer
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by South Carolina law, Neatly Cleaning LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that our services will meet every specific expectation or achieve particular results. If you are not satisfied with a completed service, please contact us within 24 hours and we will work with you to address your concerns.
6Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Neatly Cleaning LLC, its owners, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your breach of these terms; (b) your misuse of our services or website; (c) inaccurate information provided by you regarding the property, access, or service requirements; or (d) any hazardous conditions on your property that were not disclosed to us prior to service.
7Privacy & Data
Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
We collect personal information such as your name, address, email, phone number, and payment details solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services. We use analytics tools to understand website usage and enhance your experience. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at neatlycleaningsc@gmail.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
8Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of Neatly Cleaning LLC or its content suppliers and is protected by United States copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our express written permission. The "Neatly Cleaning" name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Neatly Cleaning LLC.
9Dispute Resolution
We value our relationship with every client and encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any concerns. Most issues can be addressed quickly through a conversation with our team.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may initiate binding arbitration administered by a mutually agreed-upon arbitrator in Charleston County, South Carolina, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
Both parties agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration related to any claims arising under these terms. Each party bears its own costs and attorneys' fees unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.
10Force Majeure
Neatly Cleaning LLC shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather events, pandemics, government actions or orders, utility failures, labor disputes, or acts of terrorism. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule affected services at no additional charge.
11Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, at our discretion, may notify you via email or through a notice on our website.
Your continued use of our services after any modifications to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about our terms and conditions.
12Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings not subject to the arbitration provision above shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Charleston County, South Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of these terms shall remain in full force and effect.
